Johnny is coming friday!!! Yay!!!
I've been riding a lot the past couple days at school. Tuesday I rode three horses at the barn and today I had time just to hack one. My back flaired up a bit from all of the riding, but hopefully it will calm back down. I've been doing my phyiscal therapy exercises when I can. Tomorrow I only have one class, which is my hunter riding class out at the barn, which is going to be super fun! I will update after!

Hi and welcome to Dancing Hooves!
Dancing Hooves started in 2009 when I was a college student as a place for me to chronicle my equestrian adventures. This blog was originally centered around my 1993 Standardbred gelding Walk The Line ("Johnny"). Since that time, Dancing Hooves has seen many more adventures with all five of the horses that I've owned over the years, including Emmy's Last Dance ("Emmy" - 1987 TB mare), High Joe Silver Away ("Gus" - 2005 AQHA gelding), Take Me I'm Cool ("Cool" - 2004 AQHA gelding) and MRF Voyager ("Gimli" - 2014 Miniature Horse). Currently, Emmy, Cool and Johnny are the horses that will be most featured in this blog.
After a long stint as a professional USEF "A" circuit groom, barn manager, and finally as a Vet Assistant, I'm now working a full time job as a stay at home mom to my first child. I'm a DIY amateur on a budget just trying to muddle my way through the housewife horse life! This blog follows my journey with my horses as well as a little insight into living the equestrian mom life.
